First Posts a Doozy

In writing my first blog post, I became nervous because I still had no music to talk about in my blog, having been busy for the previous week.  I thought and thought but I was unable to come up with anything I really felt passionate about to write on.  At this point, I turned to the all-knowing all-seeing eye of my ITunes library.  This had given me my title for my blog in a time of great distress so I found it very appropriate to turn to it again.  My music was on shuffle and I immediately heard the distant chords starting my personal favorite John Frusciante song, "Before the Beginning."
Without hesitation, I opened a word document and began writing how I felt about the song which then turned into the entire album, The Empyrean.  I played the entire album, from start to finish, and wrote as it progressed.  I found this to be the best way to write a blog about music, as it gave me inspiration with every note.  I began incorporating writing about certain songs on the album, some of which I was not familiar with before writing the post.
This post is a very suitable first post, letting my readers explore experimental rock.  The first post which made me nervous, turned out to be easy and surprisingly fun.  I really enjoyed expressing my opinion about this great artist, as his music really identifies with me.  I hope that all my following posts will go as smoothly as this one did.
